Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
ConnectingNext ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website connectingnext.com and provides software development, web development, and related IT services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using our website or purchasing our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us:
- Contact inquiries: when you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the message you send.
- Service orders: when you purchase a service, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, and any project notes you include with your order.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number, expiry date, and CVC are entered into secure fields provided by Stripe and are transmitted directly to Stripe — they never touch or get stored on our servers. We retain only a payment reference, the amount, and the payment status so we can issue your invoice and provide support.
- Job applications: when you apply for a position, we collect your name, contact details, and the CV/resume you upload.
- Blog comments: when you comment on our blog, we collect the name, email address, and comment content you submit.
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may also automatically record basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, which we use for security monitoring and to keep the website running reliably.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
- To process your orders, take payment, and issue invoices;
- To deliver the services you purchase and communicate about your project;
- To evaluate job applications and contact candidates;
- To publish and moderate blog comments;
- To protect our website against fraud, abuse, and security threats;
- To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Payment Processing
All card payments on this website are handled by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. When you pay, your card details are encrypted and sent directly to Stripe. Stripe's use of your personal information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy. We receive from Stripe only confirmation of payment, a transaction reference, and limited billing details necessary to generate your invoice.
4. Sharing of Information
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the website — such as our hosting provider and Stripe for payment processing — and only to the extent needed to perform their functions;
- Legal authorities when required by applicable law, court order, or to protect our legal rights, our customers, or the public;
- Business successors in the unlikely event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
5. Data Retention
We keep order and invoice records for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Contact inquiries and job applications are kept only as long as needed to handle your request or recruitment process, after which they are deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS/TLS encryption across the entire website, encrypted payment fields provided by Stripe, access-controlled administration systems, and the principle of least privilege for our staff. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using commercially reasonable measures.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You may at any time:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal retention requirements;
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@connectingnext.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Cookies
Our website uses only essential cookies and similar technologies needed for the site to function — for example, security tokens during checkout. Stripe may set cookies required for fraud prevention during payment. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent checkout from working.
9. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to external sites (such as client projects in our portfolio or our social media pages on Facebook and LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website. Your continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
